Hydration for Health
Nurses With Heart is excited to add another home health hint to our video blog – every week we will be posting a short video related to staying safe and healthy at home. This week we discuss the importance of hydration and I struggle with a prop (who knew it was so hard to hold onto a water bottle and talk simultaneously!).
Water is the holistic key to health – it benefits both your body and your mind. Water helps to regulate your body temperature and lubricates your joints. Staying properly hydrated helps to transport nutrients to give you energy and keeps your gastrointestinal system healthy.
