Passive Range of Motion
Nurses With Heart is excited to add another home health hint to our video blog – every week we will be posting a short video related to staying safe and healthy at home. This week we discuss some healthy after-shower tips, including lotion application and passive range of motion exercises.
Active and daily exercises help improve joint function, as we have talked about in previous weeks. The range of motion is how far you can move your joints in different directions. Passive and active exercises help you move each joint through its full capacity of movement. Movement can help keep your joints flexible, reduce pain, and improve balance and strength. Check out the video below for more information about how we can assist individuals with keeping their joints and skin healthy.
Thanks for watching!
